The Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has reacted to an allegation of attempted murder of a corp member in the state.
The incident took place at the St. Theresa Hospital, Use Abat, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District, South South Nigeria.
Accordingly, the Governor has directed the Commissioner of Police Olatoye Durosinmi and the Commissioner for Health Prof Augustine Vincent Umoh to undertake an immediate investigation into the matter, and brief him.
In a press statement by the Commissioner for information Comrade Ini Ememobong, Governor Eno however, assured citizens of his commitment to the safety and security of lives and property of citizens and residents in the state.
