The Chairman of the Cross River State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Apostle Trinity Ogar, has described Governor Bassey Edet Otu’s victory in supreme court as “an act of God.”

In his message of congratulatory Apostle Ogar, said the legal battles could not have gone against God’s divine plan.

The Supreme court on Friday affirmed Sen. Bassey Edet Otu and Rt Hon Peter Odey, as the duly elected governor and deputy governor of Cross River State, respectively.

In a telephone interview with Truth Live News Correspondent the Cleric who described the duo as God’s anointed’ appealed to aggrieved parties to sheath their partisan swords and join forces with Sen Otu in building the state that everyone desires.

The Lead Pastor of Goldcity Gospel Ministry noted that with the Supreme Court verdict, he is now the governor of Cross River State and no longer that of a political party.

Apostle Ogar, advised him to open his arms and receives and treats everybody as a Cross Riverian and nevertheless, “we trust that with him, Cross River would get to greater glory.”

“We will keep on praying for him and our dear State for it to take its pride of place in the comity of Nigerian states as the best.”

“With a man of honor and integrity at the helm of affairs, you can see that positive things are beginning to happen in the state which is a pointer to a better tomorrow,” he continued.

“So, let no one do anything that would truncate the good vision of His Excellency.”

“We should rather bring our experiences to bear to see that the Otu-led administration delivers on the dividends of democracy,” the PFN Chairman remarked.

“You can see that the potholes are disappearing. I am sure that he would go ahead with filling potholes to give us good roads. Street lights are back on the streets, our taps are back after years of dryness. We see the innovation of solar-powered lights,” the cleric recounted:

He said he is doing so much in the education sector already adding that ” These are signs that he is going to do well.”

According to him, “If the present administration could achieve so much without a full government on board, “So let us give him all the support.”

“With an end to litigations and the subsequent appointment of heads of agencies, boards, and other parastatals, the Otu-led administration is primed to take Cross River State to greater heights,” he stated.
