President Bola Tinubu, General Yakubu Gowon, the former head of state, and other dignitaries are present at the book launch honouring former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also attended the gathering in the nation’s capital, Abuja, alongside Buhari.
Also in attendance are the former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, among several others.
The book written by Femi Adesina will be presented alongside five volumes of another book titled Muhammadu Buhari, The Nigerian Legacy, 2015 to 2023.
This will be President Muhammadu Buhari’s first official trip to the federal capital since he left at the end of his tenure as President on the 29th of May last year.
It will be one of the rare occasions where the incumbent, who is the special guest of honour, and the past president, will appear together publicly since the handover of May 29.
Ministers who worked in President Buhari’s federal cabinet as well as other presidential aides are present for the book launch, which is being held at the conference Hall of the Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja.
