Today being the D-Day for the official declaration of Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Road Transport Employees Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Ikpoba Okha chapter has shut down their operations in the state in solidarity for him.
The association that is known as the key economic driver of the state, took a work around the popular King Square, creating the necessary awareness for passers-by and commuters to see.
Speaking to Truth Live Media in Benin City, the association chairman, Comrade Olufemi Fashiron, said they are happy today and they are fully in support of Asue Ighodalo.
“Today is a wonderful and we are truly in support of the person of Dr. Asue Ighodalo and that is why we have decided to shut down our today’s operation for him”, Fashiron said.
