Former President Trump Vows Border Security Blitz, Mass Deportations If Re-elected

Former US President Donald Trump has declared that, if granted a second term, his administration would collaborate closely with Texas Governor Abbott and other border states to halt the incursion of illegal immigrants, secure the border, and initiate the most extensive domestic deportation operation in history.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Trump stated that those permitted into the country under President Joe Biden should not feel at ease as they would eventually be repatriated.

Trump, currently vying for a second presidential term against Biden and other political rivals, asserted that Biden is facilitating the entry of millions of illegal migrants.

He alleged that Biden is obstructing Governor Abbott and the State of Texas, allowing the unchecked invasion of illegal migrants.

Trump’s statement read, “When I became President, on Day One, instead of fighting Texas, I will work hand in hand with Governor Abbott and other border states to stop the imvasion, seal the border, and rapidly begin the largest domestic deportation operation in history. Those Biden has let in should not get comfortable because they will be going home.

“When I was President, we had the most secure border in history. Joe Biden has surrendered our border and is aiding and abetting a massive invasion of millions of illegal migrants into the United States.

“We encourage all willing states to deploy their guards to Texas to prevent the entry of illegals, and to remove them back across the border.

“All Americans should support the commonsense measures by Texas authorities to protect the safety, security, and sovereignty of Texas, and of the American people.”

During his previous presidency, Trump implemented measures such as a travel ban on citizens from certain Muslim-majority countries, redirected military funding for a US–Mexico border wall, and enforced a policy of family separations for detained migrants.

Notably, Trump holds the distinction of being the only American president to face impeachment twice. The House of Representatives initially impeached him for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, with the Senate acquitting him in February 2020. In January 2021, the House impeached Trump again for incitement of insurrection, and he was once more acquitted by the Senate in February.
