Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has said that the three – day statewide crusade begining Thursday February 8 to Saturday February 10, 2024 will have a free medical outreach as one of its major components.
The Governor made this known during the February edition of Government House Covenant Service at the Banquet Hall, Uyo.
He explained that the medical outreach will begin from 9:a.m to noon followed by the crusade from 5:p.m to 8:p.m daily at the Unity Park, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo.
Meanwhile, Governor Eno has encouraged participants to gather as a people in acknowledgement of the supreme God in praise and worship while rededicating the State to God.
In addition, he urged Akwa Ibom people to be part of the crusade and take advantage of the free medical outreach.
Moreover, he appreciated participants of the covenant service and prayed that, through their prayers, God will continue to bless the State and its citizenry.
Although, the State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) organized the event to feature Fathers in Faith for Good Governance.
Nevertheless , prominent Pastors across the country including Bishop (Dr) Emma Isong, of Calabar Prophet Isa El-Buba, Apostle Lawrence Achidume, and Pastor Jerry Eze, attended the program.
Also, Rev (Dr) Ndueso Ekwere urged participants to be humble because humility is an increase in someone’s life, business and other affairs.
He spoke earlier on the theme, “Divine Enlargement,” and made reference to Psalm 18:36.
Truth Live News gathered that he enumerated the principles of divine enlargement to include: acknowledgement of ones state of affairs, willingness to have a change, and insistence and reliance on God.
The covenant service featured choir renditions, with a special birthday song in honour of former Director-General, Umo Eno- Akon Eyakenyi Campaign Organization Ambassador Assam Assam SAN.
