The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the delegate list for the Edo State Governorship Election Primary, a crucial step ahead of the September 21, 2024 gubernatorial race.
Truth Live News gathered that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party endorsed the list and scheduled the primary for February 22, 2024, to be held at the Lawn Tennis Court of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary, emphasized the importance of this decision, urging all stakeholders, including delegates, aspirants, and party members, to take note of the official date and venue.
The approval signals the party’s readiness to move forward in the electoral process and has ensured that all relevant stakeholders and participants are duly notified ahead of time, in its commitment to a transparent and inclusive party primaries.
