In a surprising turn of events, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has made an adjustment to the leadership of the Edo State Governorship Primary Election Committee.
The decision, as conveyed by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, H.E Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, involves the replacement of Governor Hope Uzodinma with Governor Bassey Otu of Cross Rivers state.
The revision was made public through an updated list released by the National Organizing Secretary, indicating a change in the committee’s chairperson. Governor Bassey Otu will now spearhead the committee responsible for overseeing the crucial governorship primary election in Edo State.
Additionally, Alh. Rabiu Suleiman has been designated to serve as the Secretary of the committee.
The decision to replace Governor Hope Uzodinma comes amidst ongoing preparations for the Edo State Governorship Primary Election.
