Residents have reportedly stormed a warehouse owned by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Nigeria.
Truthlive news gathered that the incident occurred in Karimo, Phase 3 Region of Abuja, on Sunday morning. Looters were said to have made away with food items and other supplies from the warehouse.
In response to the situation, the police in Abuja were dispatched to the area to intervene and disperse the looters.
Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, confirmed the incident, assuring that the situation has since been brought under control.
