The Cross River State Governor Sen Bassey Edet Otu, has appointed Senior Special Advisers, Special Advisers, Special Assistants, Personal Assistants, and members of Boards and Agencies into his Cabinet.
The appointment contained in a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary Emmanuel Ogbeche, and made available on social media.
For instance, a release with reference number GO/PRESS/012/VOL IV/43 dated March 5, 2024 listed 38 Special Advisers.
Also, the release listed 31 Special Assistants and Personal Assistants approved by Governor Otu to be appointed into his Cabinet.
Also approved for appointment are fourteen members of Boards and Agencies of the state government.
The release read: “The Governor Sen Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the following appointment into Boards and Agencies.”
It advised the members of the Boards and Agencies including the Special Advisers and Special Assistants to be diligent.
Nevertheless, “the Governor wishes the new appointees well and charged them to be diligent and bring their wealth of experience to bear in service to the state.”
