Fire has ravaged Kpakpando FM, a private radio station in Mbaukwu, Anambra State, on Thursday night, destroying crucial studio gear.

Martin Agbili, Anambra’s fire chief, confirmed the incident, praising the firefighters’ bravery. Despite their efforts, the fire’s cause remains unknown.
The station’s office building sustained damage, but some equipments was salvaged. Firefighters withdraw around 11:18 p.m., ending the ordeal.
