Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has offered two days of grace for candidates participating in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to effect correction of subjects combination.
This according to JAMB, will perhaps, increase their chances of securing admission into their desired tertiary institution to study their desired course.
JAMB, in a statement posted on its X (Twitter) account, indicated that the window of opportunity will be available for two days, Thursday and Friday, and there might be no extension.
“This is to inform all 2024 UTME candidates that wish to correct their UTME subjects combination that the window of that opportunity has been opened for two days starting from yesterday, March 14 to today, March 15, 2024,” JAMB said in the statement.
Recall that JAMB, last week, conducted mock-UTME for 260,000 candidates across 793 accredited Computer Based Test (CBT) centres. The candidates had indicated interest to participate in the mock-UTME which was optional for candidates during the registration process.
However, barring any change in plans, JAMB will conduct the main 2024 UTME beginning from April 19 to 29, 2024. Almost two million candidates successfully registered to participate in the examination.
