The Nuesa-UI Faculty Legislative Council has on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 revealed the shortlist for the maiden Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire Essay Competition.
Recall that the essay competition titled “Legislative Arm: The Unsung Heroes of Democracy” received entries submission from February 7, 2024 to February 23, 2024.
The competition, which was the first ever by the Nuesa-UI FLC was sponsored by Hon. Bibire Fagbenro through the Nuesa FLC Speaker, Rt. Hon. Isaac Boluwatife.
The shortlist comprises 7 names, with the winners set to be announced on Thursday, March 21, 2023, during the NUESA-UI Tug of Words 2024 event.
The shortlisted candidates, listed below in no particular order, are:

2. Shuaib Nusiroh
3. Olawale Olaoye
4. Owolabi Omolara
5. Eleho Elizabeth Omolayo
6. Mayowa Adekola
7. Omolara Olujobi
