Emmanuel Onyebuchi opened the scoring for Rangers eight minutes before halftime, giving them a crucial lead.

The visitors extended their advantage in the second half when Kalu Nweke found the back of the net on 54 minutes, putting them in a commanding position.

Remo Stars boosted their title aspirations with a convincing 2-0 victory over Bendel Insurance, with Olamilekan Adebayo and Hadi Haruna scoring the goals for the Sky Blue Stars.
