Cross River State Governmment says it will again hold a State-wide environmental sanitation exercise for the month of March.
The sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday March 30, 2024, from 6:30 a.m to 10:a.m.
Consequently, Government has urged business owners and residents to partake in the cleaning and evacuation of waste around their area.
Meanwhile, a statement signed by Commissioner for Environment Home. Moses Osogi restricts human and vehicular movement beginning from 6:30 a.m to 10:a.m. except for those on essential duties.
The statement reads thus: “the general public is hereby informed that the state-wide environmental sanitation exercise for the month of March 2024, will hold on Saturday, 30th March 2024.”
“Consequently, business owners and residents are urged to partake in the cleaning and evacuation of waste around their area during the sanitation period.”
“Restrictions of human and vehicular movement begins from 6:30 a.m to 10:a.m except for those on essential duties.”
“Note that defaulters would be prosecuted by the Cross River State Governmment,” the statement concluded.
