In a resplendent display of solidarity, thousands of men and women poured onto the streets of Ewohimi Community today to welcome their illustrious son, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the forthcoming Edo State 2020 gubernatorial election.
Dr. Ighodalo’s homecoming coincided with the Easter celebrations, further adding to the festive atmosphere.
Amidst chants of joy and enthusiasm, the community embraced Dr. Ighodalo, who arrived to spend the Easter festivities with his people. The atmosphere was electric as residents lined the streets, waving banners, and flags adorned with the PDP insignia, demonstrating their unwavering support for their candidate.
Dr. Ighodalo expressed his gratitude to the community for their warm welcome and support. Addressing the crowd, he emphasized his commitment to serving the people of Edo State with dedication and integrity if elected as governor. He outlined his vision for the state, focusing on issues such as education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment.
“I am deeply humbled by the overwhelming reception I have received from my beloved community,” Dr. Ighodalo said. “Your support fuels my determination to work tirelessly for the betterment of Edo State. Together, we will build a prosperous and inclusive future for all.”
