The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended popular Nigerian cross dresser Idris Okuneye, widely recognized as Bobrisky.
Confirming the arrest to newsmen , the spokesperson of the commission, Dele Oyewale, disclosed that Bobrisky was detained on grounds of currency mutilation and abuse of the Nigerian currency.
“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos state,” stated Oyewale.
Furthermore, Oyewale emphasized that Bobrisky is currently under EFCC custody in Lagos and will be facing legal proceedings in due course.
