The Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, NIESV, led by its President and Chairman of Council, ESV Johnbull Osarumen Amayaevbo, has commended the development strides of the Edo State governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki in the past seven and half years in the state.
He gave the commendation when he led his Executive members for a curtsey visit at the Government House, Benin.
The visit is to formally inform him of the forthcoming 54th Annual Conference of the institution, holding in the state.
Amayaevbo said that the governor has taken the state to an enviable height among the comity of states.
Amayaevbo added that with what the governor has done, his successor can easily build on his achievements.
Earlier, the Edo State governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki pledged his support for effective land administration, assets valuation, property rating and management of public facilities for the benefit of the people.
The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Engr Godwins Marvellous Omobayo, said that the present administration will continue to partner with the Institution in the implementation of the Edo State Master Plan.
The Governor restated his administration’s commitment in the provision of quality infrastructure across the three senatorial districts of the state.
Highlights of the courtesy visit was the exchange of souvenirs between the Governor and NIESV delegation.
