Waltz Environmental Solution Limited has pledged its commitment to tackling the Lagos city’s inadequate environment for the poor and down trodden.
The city’s environmental degradation has seen a significant increase over the past years, including rise in the number of potholes and failed portion of roads.
The group’s innovative new program is tackling city’s environmental degradation through a collaborative approach.
Chief executive officer and chairman Waltz Environmental Solution Limited Mr Samuel Ekong, made this known via a social media post.
According to him, his recent visit to Lagos revealed the main causes of environmental degradation which include poverty, lack of maintenance culture, among others.
As a result, the group seeks to fight for the cause of the poor in ensuring adequate environment for the down trodden.
Nevertheless, the city’s shelters and environment are overwhelmed, and many are calling for more Governmment’s attention and funding to address the issue.
Meanwhile, the group has visited the following areas in Lagos on 20th to 21st April 2024, to ascertain their claims.
For instance, areas visited during their tour in Lagos include Lekki phase 1 by access bank road Lagos Island.
Isolo community Lagos mainland.
Agbara community Outskirts of Lagos state Ogun State precisely and Bariga carriage.
Others include Ikeja Army cantonment, Oshodi carriage and Oshodi markets.
The group called for consultation for solutions and possible mitigations.
