Ovia South-West Council Boss Empowers Women with Grinding Machines, Promises More Economic Initiatives

The local government Chairman, Engr. Edosa Enowoghomwenma has donated dozens of grinding machines to women in the Locality, he promised the people that his administration will soon launch another economic empowerment initiative for businesses growth and stability in the area.

The initiative, according to the council boss is tagged “Our Market Money”

That’s wonderful news! Donating grinding machines to women in various wards of the Ovia South-West LGA is a great initiative to empower them economically. It’s fulfilling to see leaders fulfilling their campaign promises and making tangible impacts in their communities.

The scheme “Igho’Eki Oduwa,” is aimed at providing financial assistance to market women across the Ovia South-West Local Government Area.

This initiative, he said, underscores the administration’s resolve to fostering economic growth and stability for the grassroots entrepreneurs.

Enowoghomwenma further maintained that through initiatives like “Igho’Eki Oduwa”, the Local Government Council will continue to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to driving positive change and promoting economic prosperity within the community.

According to the Council Chairman, “When women entrepreneurs are empowered with the right tools and resources, they need to succeed.

“We are laying the foundation for a more inclusive and prosperous local economy.”

He urged Ovia South-West women to continuously show support for the Obaseki led State Government which is giving all the needed support for the Local Council to succeed.
