Ibom Aircraft Increases In Number As Gov. Eno Inaugurates New Airbus

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has inaugurated an additional aircraft in the fleet of Ibom Air (Airbus 220 – 300).

He, alongside his Executive Council members, thereafter, flew from Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo to Lagos State.

Governor Eno shared the news via his X handle.

He expressed excitement over the significant milestone in his commitment to position Akwa Ibom as a leader in aviation in Nigeria.

With a gut feeling of having made a good decision the Governor stated thus:

“Exciting day as we inaugurated a new aircraft, an Airbus 220-300, into the fleet of ibom airlines.”

“Joined by my Executive Council members, we embarked on a flight from the Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo to Lagos State.”

Therefore, “this in addition marks a significant milestone in our commitment to position Akwa Ibom as a leader in aviation in Nigeria.”

For instance, Ibom Air has a fleet of seven Aircraft: five (5) Bombardier CRJ 900 and two (2) Airbus A320, covering eight (8) destinations.
Ibom Air made a firm order of ten (10) Airbus A220s in line with its expansion plan, with the first delivery set for November 2023.24 Nov 2023.
