In a swift rebuttal to recent allegations circulating on social media, alleging that Governor Obaseki was investing N50 million to remove Orbih from the PDP, particularly from his Etsako Central LGA and his ward chairmen, while camped in the residence of Ugbome, Hon. Pascal Ugbome, Edo state PDP Campaign Organisation’s Deputy Director General of Etsako Federal Constituency, has vehemently denied any involvement in the alleged bribery scandal orchestrated by Dan Orbih’s camp.
Addressing the allegations as “Breaking News from the Pit of Hell,” Hon. Ugbome expressed his dismay at the baseless accusations, asserting his integrity and commitment to ethical conduct in politics.
He furthered that he and Governor Godwin Obaseki had not met since March, debunking any suggestion of collusion.
“I am too decent for this type of infantile orchestration. Certainly, no matter the situation we find ourselves in as a Party, and as a matter of principles, nobody can use me against anyone. I do not play Politics of Bitterness,” Hon. Ugbome maintained.
Refusing to be swayed by distractions, Hon. Ugbome reaffirmed his dedication to his role as Deputy Director General of Etsako Federal Constituency, pledging his total and unshaken commitment to delivering success for the PDP.
“Asue and Ogie is a Goal,” he declared, emphasizing his focus on the upcoming elections and the party’s collective objectives.
His rebuttal, made available to Truth Live News, reads:
“This is Breaking News from the Pit of Hell.
“By my upbringing, I am too decent for this type of infantile orchestration.
“The Governor and I have not met since March until yesterday, and it was only for a Handshake at the Inauguration of our Campaign Committee.
“As far as I am concerned, we have an Election to win to retain power for the PDP at Osadebe House. Certainly, no matter the situation we find ourselves in as a Party, and as a matter of principle, nobody can use me against anyone.
I do not play Politics of Bitterness.
“This Breaking News is meant to distract us. I refuse to be distracted. I have a job to do as Deputy Director General Etsako Federal Constituency, and by the grace of God, I am committed to delivering for PDP.
“Asue and Ogie is a Goal.”
The rebuttal from Hon. Ugbome, Truth Live News reportts, serves as a powerful rebuttal to the unfounded claims propagated by Dan Orbih’s camp, highlighting the desperation of a group grasping at straws in a bid to tarnish the reputation of honourable individuals.
Dan Orbih should wake up and smell the coffee – his political relevance in Edo State is as extinct as the dinosaurs. He needs to use his tongue to count his teeth and realize that his outdated, petty, and parochial politics have been relegated to the dustbin of history.
In Governor Obaseki’s new Edo, there’s no room for Orbih and his divisive antics. Hence, it’s time for him to pack up his outdated playbook and make way for a new generation of leaders who actually have the state’s best interests at heart.
