Asue Ighodalo, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, attended the grand opening of E’Sorae Home, a one-stop shop for bath and home essentials, on Wednesday.
In a statement obtained by Truth Live News via his official Facebook page, Ighodalo expressed his delight at being part of the occasion, saying that businesses like E’Sorae Home reflect the aspirations of Edo State’s first works.
He also stressed the importance of sports in development, citing the example of the EPL match between Manchester United and Arsenal, which he watched with friends and associates.
Ighodalo, however amplified his ongoing commitment to harnessing the unifying force of sports to promote all-round development in Edo State, as the 2024 elections approach.
“I am committed to working with the people of Edo State to build a brighter future for our state and its people,” he said partly.
The event, Truth Live News reports, was attended by a cross-section of Edo State residents, who welcomed Ighodalo’s message of hope and development.
