A man in his 50s died while watching football at a bar in Lagos State on May 16.
The man, a regular customer, fell asleep during the match but remained motionless when others tried to wake him after the game ended.
State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident, reporting that the bar owner, whose establishment is along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, alerted the Elere Police Division.
According to Hundeyin, detectives found the man lifeless in his chair without any signs of violence. His body has been taken to the Mainland General Hospital mortuary in Yaba for an autopsy. Authorities are currently working to identify and contact his family.
