The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is set to inaugurate Local Government Area (LGA) directors for the Asue/Ogie campaign today. This event marks a significant step in the party’s efforts to strengthen its organizational structure at the grassroots level ahead of the upcoming elections. The LGA directors will play a pivotal role in mobilizing support, coordinating campaign activities, and ensuring effective communication of the party’s message to voters in their respective areas. This move is part of the PDP’s broader strategy to build a robust campaign infrastructure and enhance its electoral prospects.
The LGA Campaign Directors are hereby directed to immediately inaugurate the Ward Campaign Committees in their local governments subsequently,” the statement said.
The Local Government Directors for the campaign, according to the statement, include Hon. Jeffrey Obasanmi (Akoko Edo), Osagie Osifo (Egor), Adekunle Oboh (Esan Central), George Enabosi (Esan North East), Peter Aguele (Esan South East), Monday Abhulimen (Esan West), and Richard Anetekha (Etsako Central).
Others are Moses Agbukor (Etsako East), Jimoh E. Lukeman ( Etsako West), Felix Imoisili (Igueben), Pastor Blessed Ighiwiyisi (Ikpoba Okha), Matthew Ikponmwonsa Eagle (Oredo), Hon. Monday Igbinegie (Orhionmwon), Hon. Frank Idahosa (Ovia North East), Adenomo Omosede (Ovia South West), Hon. James Igbarumah (Owan East), Alex Aleije (Owan West), and Justin Omoruyi (Uhunwmode).
In a related development, Rev. Martins has constitued a team of spokespersons for the Asue/Ogie Campaign Management Council.
These include Hon. Shedrack Udugbai, Hon. Tony Alile, Comrade Roy Orhiwhabor, Barr Dennis Osarentin, Barr Daniel Osa-Ogbegie, Hon. Rita Ebiuwairo, Hon. Tony Okonigene, Comrade Chris Ojiekere, Comrade Erasmus Ikhide, and Hon. Clement Aziegbemi.
“They will work with me as Deputy Director General to communicate our agenda for Edo people,” Martins said in a statement.
