In a fervent display of political unity and strategic mobilization, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of Edo state orchestrated a resounding inauguration of its campaign council in Esan South East ahead of the pivotal September 21st gubernatorial election. Led by their candidate, Barrister Asue Ighodalo, the PDP delegation descended upon Ubaija with an air of purpose and determination.
Truth Live News gathered that the mini rally (evidenced by its mammoth crowd ) graced by an array of esteemed figures including the local government chairmen Mr Laurence Odiase, party chieftains, and notable personalities like Elder Odion Ogbesia, Elder Jonny abulimen and Prince Okojie, exuded an aura of solidarity and readiness.
Under the watchful eye of Senator Ogbesia, the campaign council was formally inaugurated with a clear mandate: to diligently canvass for votes and educate the populace on the imperative of possessing their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

In a bold move to incentivize voter turnout, Barrister Ighodalo pledged substantial financial rewards, promising 15 million naira to Esan South East party structure if it secures the highest percentage of votes. Additionally, he pledged significant sums to wards and units to the party’s purse, that demonstrate exceptional voter engagement and support for the PDP cause.
