In a display of unwavering support and solidarity, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikpoba-Okha, recently paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Eric Osayande, the Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area. During the visit, CAN commended Osayande for his remarkable performance and outstanding leadership in office.

Truth Live News reports that Ven. Benson, the CAN Chairman, expressed deep satisfaction with Osayande’s achievements, describing his efforts as exemplary and setting a high standard for governance. He emphasized CAN’s commitment to stand by the Chairman and his team, pledging continuous prayers and support for their endeavors.

Venerable Tom O. Benson, Chairman of the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chapter of CAN, reiterated the Association’s unwavering support for Osayande, highlighting the compassionate and people-centric approach of the Council Chairman’s administration.

Responding to the accolades and assurances of support, Dr. Eric Osayande emphasized the importance of prayers and concerted efforts in addressing the challenges facing Nigeria. He expressed gratitude to the Christian Association for their visit and encouraged them to continue bridging the gap between the divine and the people through their activities.

Furthermore, Osayande emphasized the need for collaboration between the Council and Christian bodies, advocating for support towards the AiO² agenda. He identified this agenda as crucial for sustaining meaningful legacies and fostering development in Edo State.

In a significant endorsement, the Christian Association resolved to throw its support behind the AiO² movement, recognizing it as a divine project that aligns with their values and aspirations for the community. The meeting, held at the Chairman’s office in the Council Secretariat, witnessed the presence of key officials, including Barr. Osagie Igbinomwanhia and Pst. Josephine Duze.

Prayers were offered for the Council Chairman and the success of the AiO² initiative, highlighting the unity of purpose and shared vision between the local government administration and the Christian community in Ikpoba-Okha.
