Ighodalo Draws Mammoth Crowd in Uwessa, Esan Central LGA

Toba Owojaiye reporting
Uromi, Edo state

Despite all attempts to paint Barr Asue Ighodalo’s visit to Uwesan, as a failure, by his opponents and traducers, video evidences have proven just the opposite,

The PDP gubernatorial candidates’ visit to the local government area of his opponent, senator Monday Okpebholo, was sure to have fireworks and it did not fail.

Truth Live News gathered that the visit shutdown the entire community like a magnet buoyed by the superlative prowess of the Local Government Chairman Hon Paul Iyoha and an array of other party chieftains.

The illustrious Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming gubernatorial election on September 21, recently made a triumphant visit to Uwesan, Esan Central Local Government Area, where he was greeted by a jubilant multitude of genuine supporters.

However, unable to bear witness to Ighodalo’s organic popularity in Okpebholo’s hometown, some media aides had propagated an absurd falsehood alleging that Hon Paul Iyoha, Executive Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Council, orchestrated the sizable and enthusiastic reception for Ighodalo. Trying to suggest that the crowd were hired, after initially calming that the event was scanty and not attended.

How one can fabricate such a vast gathering of fervent supporters is beyond comprehension, exemplifying yet another fabrication from the depths of deceit.

While speaking warmly yet casually to the people, Asue Ighodalo said the following in pidgin English and it was met with a thunderous ovation and applause by the flabbergasted and overwhelmed audience.

“Wetin I wan talk wey una neva hear

But I can assure you
By the grace of God, we go pursue poverty from our land

Once you love your people
you go work for your people
You go help your people
You go protect your people “
I no go fall una hand

If this victory in Senator Monday’s backyard is anything to go by, a landslide victory is on the cards for Asue Ighodalo come September 21.
