Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has called on the citizens of Edo State to vote for a candidate capable of sustaining the projects and development trajectory established during his administration.
The governor made the call in his democracy day message, emphasizing the importance of choosing a credible, accessible, and competent leader with a proven track record of excellence.
He stressed that the progress made over the past eight years should guide voters in their decision-making process.
“As we proceed to the polls in September, it is necessary to be circumspect,” Governor Obaseki stated.
“We have made tremendous progress in the State in the last eight years. It is now only reasonable to ensure that the baton is passed to the candidate who ensures sustainability of the projects, initiatives and development trajectory that we have set in the State. ”
He added, “I urge you all to come out in large numbers and vote for the most credible, accessible, and competent candidate, one who has a proven track record of excellence. Our future depends on the choices we make today.”
