Reactions Trail Sen. Bruce’s Visit To A’Ibom, As Gov. Eno Shares Photos On X

AKWA IBOM – The recent visit of Senator Ben Murray Bruce, to Akwa Ibom state has drew more reactions.

Senator Bruce, a businessman, representing Bayelsa East (2015-2019) and founder, Silverbird Group, called in on Governor Umo Bassey Eno.

The author of a common sense revolution from South South Nigeria applauded Governor Eno’s initiative of ARISE Agenda.

The Akwa Ibom state Governor upon receiving him said Senator Bruce visit “thrilled” him.

On X, Governor Eno shared pictures of his call in on him with entourage.

“I am thrilled to share that Senator @benmurraybruce has applauded our initiative to transform the long-feared ravine in Uyo into a multi-faceted tourist attraction.”

Eno whose followers on X (formally called Twitter) totalling 20.5k went round visiting some project sites with the Bayelsa East born Senator.

While he took him round different project sites Governor Eno explained “This project, featuring a nine-hole golf course, a lake, and other top-tier facilities.”

On his X handle, said the project aim to attract the world’s wealthiest individuals and create thousands of jobs for Akwa Ibom people.

For instance, “this aligns perfectly with our ARISE Agenda, driving tourism and entertainment in Akwa Ibom State,” he added.

Meanwhile, the senator’s visit to the state has drew mix reactions from followers of the Governor on X.

@John David – he observed that God’swill Akpabio International Stadium is surrounded by bushes and hips of dirt.

Therefore, he said “Pastor sir, I’m about taking pictures of Akwa Ibom state how shabby it is currently, the bushes and dirts close to the God’swill Akpabio international stadium.

David also expressed dismay over dilapidated street lights and epileptic power supply.

“I wonder what you’re doing as a governor, the street lights are no more,poor power supply,no jobs.”

@Sam Ed – “Please keep Bruce away from Akwa Ibom and bring in good investors.”

But other followers saw the Governor’s initiative as a welcome development and prayed that he may succeed.

@Samuel Enobong, a candidate, Akwa Ibom state house of assembly election 2023, Nsit Ibom state constituency, “Akwa Ibom shouldn’t be part of Nigeria. May the Governor succeed.”
