He expressed this optimism during ward 2 meeting at Uhonmora-Ora in Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State, saying, “People of Uhonmora-Ora, my heart is filled with joy. I am very impressed with this gathering. It confirms your love for me and our dear party.

“Having your son as the number three man in Edo State, no doubt, you will benefit from my representation.

“We must collectively seek the good of Uhonmora. We will jealously guide it, because this position belongs to us all, as the time to fix Uhonmora has come.

“By His grace, I have employed good number of youths of Uhonmora-Ora. We will use this opportunity productively.

While mobilizing support for the governorship candidate of the party, he said that, “for us here, it is forward ever, with Asue Ighodalo, our PDP candidate and the entire Edo people.

“Let us ensure we vote for PDP in order to sustain the ongoing development in the State.

“I thank you so much, and I assure you that, we will keep seeing.”

Speaking on his efforts so far in changing the face of the LGA, the Speaker assured that, “when the rains subside, we will begin our road construction work at Uhonmora-Ora.

“My Speakership has enabled me to complete the Sabongidda-Ora/Ugbubezi-Sobe road, reconstruction of Uzebba shopping mall, solar powered street light project at Uhonmora-Ora, a block of four classrooms at Umeahi Central School, Uzebba, supply of transformers and a host of others.”

The meeting also afforded the Speaker and the LGA party Chairman, Engr David Okoh-Aigbodion, to receive large number of decampees from the APC into PDP.
