Governor Obaseki’s administration, acclaimed as the best government ever to govern the sovereign sub-nation of Edo State, has recently successfully rid the streets of jobless ragged brutes who persistently engage in criminal activities.
Obaseki, in his unrelenting fight against the devastating effects of gangsterism, promptly assembled the combined forces of police, military, and paramilitary commands to thwart the rising menace of cultism and the antisocial delinquencies. The governor spoke firmly when he made these assertions.
Therefore, it was expected that the police would respond and employ their legal might to curb, arrest, indict, and, where necessary, incarcerate all those involved in the recent disturbances on the streets of Benin (Bini).
The state must continue to foster and encourage orderliness for peaceful coexistence throughout the kingdom of Benin. Those who create disturbances and perpetrate crimes will certainly face time in one of the state correctional facilities.
The application of court judgments should be precise and devoid of ostentatious exhibitions of procedural court rulings intended to incite public sentiment.

Despite the numerous health hazards associated with public exposure of corpses in this era of COVID infections, these criminal elements dishonored the deceased by parading his corpse around the streets of Bini without his family’s permission. These offenders must be held accountable for such infringement.
Obaseki has evolved the state past the exhibition of hooliganism cultivated by the previous administration.
