A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. John Mayaki, has lambasted Senator Adams Oshiomhole for fabricating and concocting lies against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the forthcoming election, Asue Ighodalo on a National TV Programe.

Recall Oshiomhole had on Arise TV’s Morning Show, said, “Asue Ighodalo is not electable; he can’t speak his own language. He went to his village but couldn’t sleep there because of witches and wizards. Edo people are wiser now.”

In response to Oshiomhole’s lies, Mayaki said “I really don’t like it when people quote Oshiomhole and take him seriously. He said worse about Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and later ate his own words, and he did the same with Godwin Obaseki. He has shown himself to be inconsistent and unworthy”.

“Before now, I have heard Oshiomhole saying great things about Ighodalo, and the videos are available. Today, Oshiomhole is saying something different, claiming Ighodalo is not electable as if he sets the standards for candidates. Tomorrow, you will see and hear Oshiomhole praising Ighodalo. That’s how he told us Pastor Ize-Iyamu was a cultist who damaged someone’s private part for life. Then, four years later, he was selling him as the best thing after God’s own heart”.

“I hate hypocrisy with a passion, especially from people who talk carelessly and then don’t stand by their words. We lost the 2020 election to the PDP because of Adams Oshiomhole”.

“I’m APC, but I’ve gone beyond party sentiments. We are in this situation today because some of our party leaders have shown that they are unworthy. I know this truth will make them uncomfortable, but if the truth will kill them, let them die”.
