Ahead of the 2024 Edo State governorship election, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former House of Representatives member, Honourable Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma, popularly known as E.J., has unleashed scathing criticism on the APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo.

During an interview with ARISE NEWS on Monday, when asked to say what Okpebholo has been telling Edo people door to door since he cannot appear in person for interview on TV, Agbonayinma openly pointed to the senator’s poor performance at a recent APC rally.

According to Agbonayinma, Okpebholo failed miserably to articulate any coherent project agenda for the people of Edo State, leaving many in doubt of his ability to lead.

The controversial interview has sparked debate within political circles, with many wondering how this public exposure of Okpebholo’s shortcomings might impact the APC’s chances in the upcoming election. As the political battle heats up, all eyes are now on how the party will respond to these damning allegations and whether Okpebholo can recover from the damaging revelations made by his fellow party member.
