Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, former chief of staff to Governor Adams Oshiomole has strongly condemned the recent Edo election, labeling it a “jiggery-pokery” executed by manipulative forces and accepted by self-serving individuals.
He vividly described the election as a “pooh-pooh and odoriferous” process supervised by harmful and disease-ridden authorities, leaving Edo people with a frightening and unhealthy government. Obahiagbon emphasized that this election is akin to a puzzling and outrageous situation.
“This election is a jiggery-pokery executed by mephistophelean and accepted by megalomania and kakistocratic gbegbe post braggadocio after excessive ratiocination and phantasmagoria.”
Obahiagbon questioned the integrity of INEC, the electoral umpire, citing allegations that the State Returning Electoral Commissioner was working in favor of the APC.
He passionately asked, “How can a polling empire condone sky-high mendacious and fallacies in the modern age?”
Obahiagbon urged citizens to challenge such wrongdoing.
In his characteristic elaborate language, Obahiagbon painted a dire picture of Nigeria’s situation. He stated, “The quotidian stentorian atribilous ululation is abyssopelagic. The country is on a precipice of apocalyptic crepuscule with this kind of electoral malfeasance. The ungaga kungaga continues ad infinitum.”
Obahiagbon’s comments reflect widespread concerns about electoral integrity and accountability in Nigeria’s democracy. His remarks underscore the need for free and fair elections to ensure the people’s voices are truly represented.
