Gov. Obaseki Dedicates Newly Renovated Interdenominational Govt. House Chapel

In a heartfelt service marking the end of his eight-year tenure, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State delivered a message of “faith, hope, and prayer for continued progress” at the newly renovated Interdenominational Government House Chapel.

The chapel, now a symbol of unity and spiritual renewal, was officially rededicated during a thanksgiving service held in the state capital.

Reflecting on his time in office, Governor Obaseki expressed gratitude for the journey and reaffirmed his vision for the future of Edo State. “My message of faith, hope, and prayer for continued progress in Edo State was delivered with a deep sense of appreciation as I stand here in this beautiful chapel,” he said. The Governor highlighted the importance of unity and resilience in achieving sustained development and underscored his enduring commitment to the welfare of the people of Edo.

The chapel, which now serves as an interdenominational space for worship and reflection, has been renovated to accommodate the spiritual needs of the Government House community and the public. The newly rededicated space symbolizes a bridge for various Christian denominations, offering a common ground for prayer and thanksgiving.

Governor Obaseki’s dedication of the chapel marks a memorable close to his administration, capturing his emphasis on faith as a foundation for growth and progress in Edo State.
