Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is urging the club to offer Nigeria defender Bright Osayi-Samuel an improved contract, amid concerns over his expiring deal.
Osayi-Samuel’s current contract is set to expire next summer, after rejecting a new offer in the summer seeking an improved salary.
He is reportedly demanding an annual salary of €2.5m, with Fenerbahce keen on extending his contract for three years.
Mourinho wants to retain Osayi-Samuel’s services, seeking immediate resolution on his future.
Truth Live News reports that the 27-year-old defender joined Fenerbahce from QPR in January 2021 and has made seven league appearances this season with one assist.
