Osogbo, Osun State

In a bold step to uplift and support women and vulnerable groups across Osun State, Chief Mrs. Titilola Adebusola Adeleke, the First Lady of Osun State, has led a large-scale distribution of food support to residents in need.

Truth Live News gathered that, through a collaboration with the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), spearheaded by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the program distributed 700 bags of 25kg rice across Osun’s 30 local government areas.

This noble initiative which took place at the Osun State Government House, Osogbo, is a response to the economic challenges affecting everyday Nigerians. Mrs. Adeleke assured the people of the government’s commitment to easing the burdens on families and fostering resilience among the people. She encouraged Osun residents to remain resilient and prudent in the face of economic shifts, reinforcing her dedication to championing the needs of women, children, and the vulnerable.

Among the recipients were women-led groups, including the Osun State Women with Disability Farmers Association (OSWDFA), who honored Mrs. Adeleke with a symbolic token for her support of physically challenged individuals. The First Lady’s outreach extended to religious groups, widows, and other marginalized members of society, reinforcing her mission of compassion and inclusivity.

In attendance were prominent state officials, including Hon. Temilade Khalid, Special Adviser on Children Affairs, and representatives across various social, market, and welfare sectors, all unified by the shared goal of bolstering communities.
