Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has expressed frustration over the controversial VAR decision that denied Robert Lewandowski’s first-half goal against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Lewandowski thought he’d scored the opener, but VAR disallowed it as offside.
However, further review revealed VAR mistakenly confused Lewandowski’s boot with the defender’s.
Flick stated in his post-match interview: “I saw the pictures, and the decision was wrong. It’s a valid goal, very clear. We must accept it, but it’s a big mistake.”
