Acting National Chairman of the PDP , has arrived in Akure, Ondo State, to spearhead the grand finale of the governorship campaign for PDP candidate, Agboola Ajayi. This event kicks off the party’s push towards the November 16 election.
Truth Live News gathered that Damagum , alongside the National Working Committee (NWC) and other prominent party chieftains, including PDP governors, is set to bolster the campaign’s final stretch. The PDP has voiced its full support for Ajayi, emphasizing his leadership experience, economic vision, and deep grassroots support as key strengths. With Damagum’s leadership, the party is mobilizing to challenge the APC-led administration under Lucky Aiyedatiwa, which PDP leaders have labeled as ineffective and out of touch with the people.
Before departing Abuja, the PDP Governors Forum, led by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, reaffirmed that Damagum remains the acting national chairman, emphasizing party unity as they head into this crucial election phase.
