Popular Nigerian artiste Ayo Balogun better known as Wizkid has hit a new milestone in his career as his latest album, ‘Morayo’, made impressive debut on Billboard 200 chart.
Morayo entered the chart at 98th position with 13,000 units sold in its 1st week.
Announcing the new feat, Chart Data via X wrote “Wizkid’s ‘Morayo’ debuts at 98 on this week’s Billboard 200 (13K sold).”
Morayo became Wizkid’s fourth album to debut on the chart.
‘Morayo’, which was released on November 22, 2024, is a tribute to Wizkid’s late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who died in August 2023.
The album features an array of tracks including ‘Troubled Mind’, ‘Karamo’, ‘Kese (Dance)’, ‘Bad Girl’, ‘Time’, ‘Piece of My Heart’, ‘Break Me Down’, ‘Bend’, and ‘A Million Blessings’.
Others are ‘Après Minuit’, ‘Bad for You’, ‘Soji’, ‘Don’t Care’, ‘Slow’, ‘Lose’, and ‘Pray’.
