President Bola Tinubu has appointed eight new Permanent Secretaries (PS) to help move the civil service forward.
According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the appointees are to fill existing and anticipated vacancies across various states and geopolitical zones.
This latest appointment follows a previous set of eight secretaries appointed in June.
The new Permanent Secretaries, are: Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State), Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State), Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State), and Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State).
Others are Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State), Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State), Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State) and Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
President Tinubu emphasised the importance of dedication and innovation in their roles, urging the new Permanent Secretaries to demonstrate greater commitment, diligence, and innovation in serving the country.
