Renowned Nigerian pastor and gospel minister, Nathaniel Bassey, has been invited to minister at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on January 20, 2025.

The event will take place at the Waldorf Astoria Presidential Ballroom in Washington, D.C., ahead of the inauguration of Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance.

Hosted by Reverend Merrie Turner, the prayer breakfast is a non-governmental and non-political gathering that brings together faith leaders to intercede for the incoming administration.

Pastor Bassey, fondly known as “Pastor Nath,” will minister alongside distinguished speakers and ministers, including Dr. Alveda King, Pastor Mario Bramnick, Revivalist Rebecca Macchi, and Dr. Dominiquae Bierman.

Confirming his participation on Instagram, Nathaniel Bassey expressed his excitement, saying, “Let’s raise a sound in America. And let the King of Glory come in. See you. 20th January, 2025.” He also explained that the event serves as a platform for worship and prayer ahead of each U.S. administration’s swearing-in ceremony.

Pastor Bassey, celebrated for his iconic trumpet playing and worship ministry, recently released an 18-track album, The River, and continues to inspire millions through his music and the globally acclaimed Hallelujah Challenge.
