Serie A clubs Cagliari and Empoli are reportedly interested in signing Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers on a loan deal with an option to buy.
Dessers has fallen down the pecking order at Rangers in recent weeks, prompting him to consider his future at the club.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the loan deal would include an option to buy Dessers at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old Nigerian striker has previously played in Serie A with Cremonese during the 2022/23 campaign, scoring six goals in 26 league appearances.
Dessers joined Rangers after Cremonese’s relegation to Serie B and has since scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.
His contract with Rangers runs until May 2027.
