At least three teams have qualified for the fourth round of this season’s FA Cup, following the completion of the first set of third-round fixtures on Thursday night.

Everton, who sacked Sean Dyche as their manager earlier in the day, defeated Peterborough United 2-0.

It was Beto who opened the scoring for the Toffees at Goodison Park three minutes before halftime.

Iliman Ndiaye sealed their progress with a late penalty in the 98th minute.

Sheffield United were eliminated after losing 1-0 at home to Cardiff City.

Cian Ashford scored the decisive goal in the 19th minute.

Fulham survived a scare against Watford, winning 4-1 at Craven Cottage.

Rodrigo Muniz gave Fulham a 26th-minute lead, but Rocco Vatta equalized seven minutes later.

Raul Jimenez’s penalty in the 49th minute restored Fulham’s lead, and additional goals from Joachim Andersen and Timothy Castagne sealed the victory.

More third-round matches are scheduled for this weekend, with the standout fixture being Arsenal vs. Manchester United at the Emirates.
