Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that goalkeeper David Raya may miss Sunday’s Premier League match against Manchester City due to injury.

Raya was absent from the Gunners’ 2-1 Champions League win over Girona on Wednesday, with Neto making his Arsenal debut in his place.

Although Arteta did not disclose the nature of Raya’s injury, he confirmed that the goalkeeper is currently unavailable.

When asked about Neto’s potential to deputise for an extended period, Arteta expressed his confidence in the veteran goalkeeper, citing his extensive experience.

Neto’s debut was marked by a mistake that led to Girona’s opening goal, but Arsenal recovered with goals from Jorginho and Ethan Nwaneri to secure a 2-1 victory.
