A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has accused former presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, of exacerbating the crisis within the party.
George urged all parties involved to come together and resolve their differences, noting that the public image of the party is crucial in maintaining trust with the people.
He criticized Atiku’s claim that the All Progressives Congress (APC) government is behind the PDP crisis, pointing out that the APC also faces its own internal issues, such as the imposition of Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman.
George stated that both Atiku and Wike have “committed Harakiri” and that it’s time for the party to take bold action to resolve the crisis.
