Lawal Rofiat Kofoworola, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, has been kidnapped while traveling from Benin to Ibadan to resume her primary assignment in Ogbomoso.
The incident, Truth Live News gathered, occurred on Tuesday when she boarded an Ore-bound bus.
Her abductors have contacted her family, demanding a ransom of N20 million.
A friend of the victim, Agbakwara, raised the alarm on Facebook, expressing deep distress over the situation.
According to him, the development has been reported to the NYSC Secretariat in Ibadan, but there has been no official response.
He equally said that Kofoworola’s parents are financially struggling and unable to meet the kidnappers’ demand.
He therefore appealed for help, urging Nigerians to assist in spreading the message, reaching the authorities, or providing any help possible.
The NYSC spokesperson, Caroline Embu, while reacting, requested details of the incident from newsmen to confirm.
