Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) manager Luis Enrique has outlined his team’s plan to overcome Liverpool at Anfield in the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.
Enrique heightened the importance of ball possession, stating that having the ball more than their opponents will increase their chances of winning.
“We want to have the ball more than our opponents, and from there, we’ll see what possibilities come about,” Enrique said, according to the PSG official website.
He acknowledged that away matches are always more challenging but expressed confidence in his team’s abilities.
PSG dominated the first leg but suffered a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.
A win at Anfield would set up a quarterfinal clash with either Aston Villa or Club Brugge.
