The Chairman of the Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Dr. Noble Ezehi Igbas, has expressed profound gratitude to the Benin Grand Commandery for honoring him with a distinguished award during the organization’s 14th anniversary celebration held in Benin City.

In a heartfelt message, made available to Truth Live News and addressed to the Grand President and Members of the Benin Grand Commandery, Dr. Igbas described the recognition as a humbling and deeply motivating moment in his public service journey.

“I am deeply humbled and honored to express my heartfelt gratitude for the prestigious award bestowed upon me today,” he wrote. “This recognition is a testament to the impact of my contributions, and I am grateful for the acknowledgment.”

The award, presented during a well-attended ceremony marking over a decade of the Commandery’s commitment to moral leadership and community service, celebrates Dr. Igbas’ steadfast dedication to governance, public service reform, and advocacy for ethical leadership within Edo State and beyond.

Hon. Igbas, a Statistician and a respected figure in Edo political and administrative circles, has consistently championed merit-based reforms, youth inclusion, and civil service innovation during his tenure. His legacy as former Minority Whip and now head of the state’s civil service commission has drawn admiration across political and social strata.
